Storytelling Workshops & Cup of Stories

We use our storytelling and story-collecting talent also in companies that wish to reveal, collect, re-tell and hold the stories of the people they work with and the stories of the people they work for within their organisations. This we can do in three ways.

Our experience learns that often stories that are collected on the inside of an organisation find their way to the outside world.

“We believe that personal stories have great potential also in the working environment.”

We have worked with different kind of companies in the storytelling proces. We were asked by a care-organisation to step in and have individual talks with a number of clients and colleagues to bring personal stories to the surface and capture different life fragments. It has been a beautiful proces in which the stories found their way to their own cups and are used to drink coffee from in the morning.

“It has been a beautiful proces in which the stories found their way to their own cups”

We were asked by a university to step in and capture stories from students and teachers because of the great diversity of the people and the difficulty they sometimes have to really listen to one another. This is where a safe storytelling space is of great value. The stories we found were captured in our Cup of Stories and were brought back in the school.

“The stories we found were captured in our Cup of Stories and where brought back in the school.”

We love to share inspiring collaborations with you. Here you read the testimonial of Soo Bosman of Dilmah Tea. Soo is Transformation Director at Dilmah Tea and she wrote to us a story about our cooperation.

Stories are a collective paradigm of life experience. Even if you haven’t experienced those adventures yourself, someone telling you a firsthand story is always enriching you with another dimension of reality. Like water, storytelling can’t be limited to national borders, languages or ethnicity. Stories pass on universal wisdom of humanity. This is why we offer our teas as a vehicle for stories to travel, infinitely. To soothe, inspire, comfort, enlighten and to reconcile. Tea is not the point, it’s just a vehicle.

“The cup is a very beautiful means of transport for our stories.”

This is what we recognized in Cup of Stories by Global Storytellers. Their purpose is not all about the cup, it’s about the stories inside the cup and the cup being a very beautiful means of transport. It is about stories being collected en held and being shared with present and future generations. This is where we feel a very intrinsic connection. And this is why we are creating a sustainable and inspirational cooperation.
