“As an anthropologist, I combine my expertise in both lecturing and research. I lecture at the School of Social Work at Windesheim University. As a PhD researcher at the Rotterdam School of Management, I do research on cross-border diasporic philanthropy. I spend my spare time dancing ballet, reading, cooking and running.”

What is your dream for this world?
“Seeing differences something that is celebrated instead of a reason to avoid each other.”

Who inspired you? Who is very important to you?
“I find someone who acts from a place of compassion and empathy ever inspiring. I think the amount of healing and self-development that is required for such behavior is still very much underestimated and undervalued in society.”

What is your happy space / your favorite place on this planet?
Every place where I feel like I can be myself, is my happy place.
