Michal Iwanowski is a visual artist and lecturer based in Wales, UK. He holds an MFA in Documentary Photography (University of South Wales), with an extensive track record of international exhibitions and publications. His work has been acquired for permanent collection by the National Museum of Wales (Cardiff), Museum of Contemporary Art in Zagreb (Croatia), and Collection Banc Sabadell, Spain. His book ‘Clear of People,’ published in 2017, was nominated for the Deutsche Börse Photography Prize, as was his exhibition of the project ‘Go home, Polish’ at Peckham24, London.

“I try to be present and content so that any place can be my happy place. But a forest of any kind gets me there the fastest.”
